You might remember Emily + Ben from their gorgeous Boar’s Head Inn engagement session last year. Charlottesville has always been a favorite of mine, from the mountains, to the restaurants, and of course my Dad is a UVA graduate so I grew up with GO HOOS. They were also the first couple to introduce me to the breathtaking Trump winery in Charlottesville VA. I can now say I am a Charlottesville wedding photographer! Pulling into the winery it really is NOT what you would expect. It’s giant, and beautiful, and pretty much like a full on estate. I will have to honestly say, the little chapel is most beautiful church I have ever shot in. That is a fact.
It rained CATS AND DOGS on the day of Emily and Ben’s wedding, but honestly, that made it even more gorgeous. It brought out the lush green of the vineyard, made for perfectly intimate moody lighting, and to me–there is just something romantic about rain. The love these 2 have for each-other is so real it made the entire wedding a real joy to photograph.
