Nestled in the Fine Creek Mills historic district of Powhatan, Virginia lives the Mill at Fine Creek. It reminds me of an XL Bovarian alpine village, or something magical along those lines. What I love as a photographer about this venue is the space! There are 3 ceremony locations, with the stone ruins obviously being the popular spot. Fall at the Mill is simply magical.
Erica and Lee are one of my favorite couples. I may say that a lot I guess, but Erica is my spirit animal. When we met she said “I like dark, borderline creepy, but classy photos.” I laughed and said….we’re gonna be friends. The style of her wedding turned out such a dream come true. Dark jewel tones with vintage vibes, and HER FREAKING DRESS was insane. It was the most unique I have seen this year. Her love for food is something we can all probably relate to, but her facial expressions throughout the day just brought me joy. She is truly a character and I loved getting to know her and Lee.
Florals by Photosynthesis were “perfectly ferny” per Erica
It’s a parent’s wish to bless their children with momentous memories. As I scroll through the beautiful images that were captured by truestoryphotography it’s as if time has stood still and I can relive Erica’s and Lee’s heartfelt wedding day. My eyes welled with joyful tears looking at the smiles, laughter, and humorous moments as the wedding unfolded. True love has been recorded through photos and I am so grateful to be able to reflect on these memories. Thank you for your unconditional thoughtfulness and talent. We feel the truestoryphotography ❤️.
