Meeting Amy + Eric for their fall virginia elopement was the first time I had been to Silverbrook Farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Purceville. This historic farm and BnB was quite possibly the most intimate, beautiful venue I have been to for more of a traditional elopement. The house is nestled with a gorgeous backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and gives you the peace and serenity of a country setting with an intricately decorated historic farmhouse.
Amy and Eric used FaceTime and Zoom to have their family be a part of their elopement as best they could during the pandemic season. There was such joy and love surrounding them even if it was via internet. They were one of many couples who decided to elope instead of postponing their traditional wedding and plan to have a celebration once restrictions are lifted with family and friends. I truly enjoyed being a part of their day and being able to visit such a gorgeous venue.
Secret: this venue has a hidden treehouse in the woods. The current owner was raised on this property and has lived there for almost 60 years. Imagine growing up there…
